Africa's rainbow nation is a biodiversity
hotspot with over 10% of the world's flowering species. The
climate varies from scorching desert in the Kalahari to lush
jungle near the boarder with Mozambique.
With the HIV/AIDS epidemic in South Africa there are opportunities
for caring and compassionate volunteers to get involved with
community projects - working at a Hospice for Children with
AIDS near Cape Town or outreach projects for young teenagers
in the Western Cape Province.
We have lots of volunteer opportunities in South Africa.
If you love animals you could volunteer at one of our monkey
or dolphin sanctuaries. If you prefer big game, you can track
lions in the bush where you will be required to sleep out
and learn shooting and tracking skills. |
